I just saw the post on how the owners manual says no towing with a manual tranny... Lets say i put a hitch on to mount a bike rack..Now lets say somethng goes wrong and i need powertrain warranty service..Will they look at the hitch and say I towed something....warranty voided?
what do ya think?

They might ask the question and give you a hard time, but if you have no trailer wiring installed and don't own a trailer, they'd have a hard time proving something that you never did...

I too use my hitch mostly to carry bikes around, but I do occasionally use it for my utility trailer as well, however I have the automatic.
