I put a 3'x5' box in the back of mine (daughters Pontiac Soltice power wheels). Was not all the way to the front seats and closed with no problem.

Just measured mine
With front seats all the way forward i measured 75 inches, I allowed for rear hatch to close.
I'm 6 ft and i have plenty of room.
Also i didn't fold down the passanger seat.
