Maybe this is a bit snide - but - why not use fog lights only when it's foggy?

 

I have added the tint to the headlights and the fogs help make up for the tint so thats why I would want them on anytime the headlights are on. By mistake I put the connector for the fog lights into the emergency flashers port and vise versa. when the flasher switch was depressed the fogs would come on as soon as the car started and went off when the key was turned off, of course my emergency flashers didnt work because the switch for the fogs does not stay engaged. I know its not what you were looking for but who knows. I have since switched it back so everything is back to normal.
