Car show today

I went to a car show today. I was with my sports car club so the HHR was home. There were about 200 cars in the show and there wasn't one single HHR. What's up with that?? Don't HHR people show cars?? There were even 6 PT Cruisers.

We drive ours so we don't pretend they are old cars. LOL.

We drive our sports cars too. Doesn't stop us from enjoying a car show that supports the local college's automotive program with scholarship money for kids looking to become mechanics.

I'm off to my first show (with the HHR) next Saturday, reportedly 7 of us going to be there. Certainly not an overwhelming numbers but respectable considering the population

I'm not sure, but maybe the HHRs get left at home in favor of showing other cars. But nobody here would ever do that now, would they?

Because my sports car club has not only been a sponsor of this show for years but we were actually on the original committee that created the show. So I took the sports car. Besides my HHR is a work truck, plain LS panel full of parts. The only mod on it is the auto dimming rear view mirror. Think anyone would know it's a modified vehicle???

Pre show

Displayed mine in a pre show warm up, only HHR there, but the funny thing was most people were unaware of the panel let alone the SS, so I recieved a ton of complements on the Mods I'd done, I didn't what tell to them the truth but I let them know what you see is how it came from the factory.
Anyway I'm going to enter it on the 17th in a local show and have no idea what class will update after.

Well I showed my HHR yesterday...tagged along with some friends showing their vintage trucks at the All-American Truck Show. I wasn't sure of the kind of reception I'd get with such a vehicle but the response to my "trucklet" was positive. Most who looked at it weren't aware that there was an SS model much less having ever seen one.
