carfax

kinda weird. i just went to carfax and put my VIN is show 9 records for my car. should i be worried? i bought it new april 08. anyone got a carfax subscription that wouldnt mind checking my vin for me? thanks

Don't worry they always show somthing so you will pay the money to see it. most often its just title transfered and plates. Just my take on this if it keeps you up at night spend the money and put your mind to rest.

I have a couple dozen on mine. You get one everytime some tattle-tale with a cell phone calls 911 to report you going past them well in excess of the posted speed limit.

Carfax gets service reports from some places... so some of those items might be as simple as when you took the car in for an oil change.

If you want to see an example of this, go to Carmax's website and look at an AutoCheck for a random car in their inventory. AC is a competitor to Carfax, but generally has the same info.
