Depends on which gun I'm carrying.

Grabbed a spare interior piece though from a clip @ work, in which I mounted my Blackhawk Serpa to for carrying my XD9SC.

I don't mind sharing, nor if it offends to address the original post despite age. It's nice to remove from my IWB and lock into the Serpa, with no worrying about aggressive driving, nor movement of it in any other compartment. Has done great!

Typically though I'll have my Sig on me, and the XD remains bedside.

Lighting in pic is provided by a 5.11 ATAC light I carry as well-

There is a removable option is made my Gum Creek Customs, in which I also had-

No doubt about it,the XDM's both full size and compacts are great weapons. But,haveing had both a full size XDM 40 and a S+W M+P40,I personally prefer the M+P.To me the M+P had a better feel ergo wise and didn't feel as "slippery" so to speak as the XDM.

For me I just like my Glock 22. A few years back I was laid off and chose to sell my gun collection but I refused to sell the Glock. While I do IWB this gun I prefer to carry my Bersa Thunder 380cc. But that is more for the size since the stopping power is no where near the same.

I don't know, .380 defense ammo has progressed. I went from my 9mm carry to a P238 with Hydrashok's, and in a carry/defense encounter I'm more than confident my .380 would "eliminate the threat". I absolutely love carrying this gun.

Have a guy @ work that loves those Bersa's!

I haven't tried those Hydra's yet. With 11 of them to use it sounds like I would not have any issues lol. Still can't get over the fact that this CC model is narrower and shorter in both directions then the standard Thunder 380 I used to have yet holds 5 more rounds. The CC in the name DOES stand for Concealed Carry so I am thinking that capacity and small size were BOTH focus goals in the design process.

Me too but I still LUV my Glock more. The Glock is so simple to strip down. That is my only beef with the Bersa's. They are a pain to get back together let alone get apart. The Glock can be taken down in about 30 seconds.

I have two choices for my Bersa 9mm Compact Carry - Either out of the holster in the extra storage on the dash or I have a nylon holster velcroed under the dash on the driver side.

Should be less than that! Most polymer's strip the same way now, I know my XD and my buddy's G26 are identical in terms of such.

Personally I don't keep any firearms in the HHR(whichever one I'm driving at the time), De Santis makes a very nice holster for the 500 Magnum, and a weapon is useless unless its readily at hand.

Shoulder rig and a Beretta 96G.

S&W 442 in door pocket for backup.

Since you can't take you car to the range to practice, I like my gun to be where my hand knows it will be.
