changing the headlights just sucks, do it while rotating your tires and it makes it a little bit easier, buy som replacement plastic rivets as well.

Boy isn't that a joy changed mine to sliverstars and bought a gross panel clips in the process, tried the reusable rivet type but it didn't look good.

Just about everyone that I've talked to said that they like the Silverstars but they burn out too quickly.

I have seen others post about the short life of Silverstars but that has not been my experience. Maybe because the '06 does not use the headlights for DRL? I had 41, 263 miles (21 months) on mine before they went out.

At 19.99 each thats a whole .000484 cents a mile.

I really like the extra brightness so really wouldn't care if they only lasted 6 months but maybe that's just me. Just being able to see the $%#@ deer a 100 yards eariler has saved me a lot more.

I would have upgraded to the Ultra's but they only had one and around here you rarely find twin pack's, just singles.

I hope so. My son got me a pair of Silverstars for my HHR for Christmas and they're still on the workbench. If it's that difficult to reach the bulbs, maybe I'll just wait until the temp warms up a bit.

I'm sure there is a thread around for this but has anyone changed the foglight bulbs? Is it as bad as the headlights? This weekend I noticed one of my foglights was out and I picked up a new bulb but was too lazy to change it on the weekend.
