You just have to open up the wheel well liner and reach in. It is easier to get to than the headlights or parking lights.

that is all.
Well, I'm quoting myself because I've got to do it again. I posted this in February 2010 and I just noticed today that one of the Silverstars I put in has blown (lowbeam only).
The other reason I'm posting is because there was a little difference of experiences on the life of Silverstars. My experience is 8 month lifespan.

I have a set of silverstars in and they have been working good for 3 years now.

Is everyone using a clean pair of gloves when you put them in? I clean them also before installing. Keeps any oil from your fingers off the bulbs.

Do you use Alcohol to clean the bulbs? And which silverstars are you using? Regular or Ultra? Or is there another type?

I got to enjoy this fun little activity today. Complete pain and I also upgraded to Silverstars. Hopefully It'll be a long while before I have to do this again.

I took off the tire to access the fender liner, but will not do that again next time. That probably doubled the time to make the change. I handled the bulb with gloves so I didn't get any skin oils on it. That was about 3 weeks ago and everything is still working.
