'07 2.2 got the same block and a number of changes to bring it inline with the 2.4. Nothing significant for the '08 year

I get a lot of rentals. The steering wheel buttons are different on all 3 years, The 08's now have tire pressure available through the DIC wheels have been added. The Satin chrome appears to be clear coated on the 08's. The 08's have a traction control button on the dash, have not seen one on the 06-07. The dash switch changed in late 06, My 06 will not turn on the interior lights.
The engine HP and torque rating was raised from 06 to 07 and it appears to be changed back to the 06 information. And the best addition to the 08 year.... The HHR SS 2.0 Turbo

Here's the new traction control button that was added to turn off one or both of the systems (I'm not sure how it works.)

I was looking through the brouchure and noticed this stuff today.

It says the 08 HHR has all speed traction control (I think that's the same systems as previous years and it also has enhanced traction control (I think that is new.)

06 used the bright elements of the turn signals for the DRL. The 07 (and 08 I think) use the headlights in a low setting.

The '07 has the plastic fender guard, too. That was removed on the '08's. Also, the Amethyst color was deleted for '08.

I was just reading an article on Edmunds Inside Line. They were releasing the HHR SS' pricing. Then I noticed something...

The Window switches are no longer on the center console. They are on the door armrest where they have always belongs.

Why on Earth didn't Chevy do this in the first place? The window switches were put in the absolutely worst place possible on the 07 and 06 models. It is the ONLY thing I absolutely hate about my wife's HHR.

You can see pictures of what I'm talking about in the Edmunds article here: http://www.edmunds.com/insideline/do...ticleId=124008

Better yet, here's the picture:

Only on the SS. Not sure if we've concluded this is so on the SS Auto yet though?!?
