I'm also going to do ourselves such.
Now I use cardboard (dismantled several boxes from under the monitors) and 2 blankets.
But your version - simple and ingenious.

Thanks geg. But it's nothing special. Anyone with a pair of scissors and the wife & kids out of the house could do it.

I was waiting for that Yes it's the one with "claws" and if you tilt your monitor just at the right angle you'll see the brake pedal lock also. Just a habit from when I lived in Queens NY years ago. Yeah if they want to get it they will. Just more of a small deterrent...

That's how I tell if I'm in a bad area, is how many of those I see on cars. Heck, you don't really even see them in Flint. (but then again no one in Flint has cars worth stealing!)

My HHR is not stolen in any way.
Unable to hide in the traffic. In Russia, the HHR can not quickly sell.
