Out of their minds on the asking price.
But some Fool with bad credit will come along most likely and get ripped off buying it.
NOT saying anything about "Dory", but lets be Honest, a 2006 with 56,000 miles (low miles for that year) but you can so Easily find a much better Deal on HHR's.
Newer by a couple years with lower miles at alot Lower asking prices even.
Dealers SIT on HHR's for Months TRYING to sell them, we are a rare breed that Loves these Retro Styled cars so the market is not holding prices high by any means.
I bought mine, Used in July, it sat for a couple Months and every other week they dropped the asking price by another $500.00, until I decided it was priced right.
I Still look at my local Craigs List here and see the SAME ones at the Same Dealers for sale, even almost 6 months later.(OUCH)
NOT good for our resale value, but then I am not planning on selling any time soon. Number 1 reason I decided to buy one used, was the low resale value. I let the New buyer take the Big Hit, they only had it 14 months I believe, the rest of the time it was sitting on a Dealer lot trying to be sold. Even New it sat a year or so before the first guy bought it New.
Mine will be paid for by July 2011 I only financed about $7,400.00 after taxes license and whatever fees they pile on. 12 payments and it's mine free and clear and will have well under 30,000 miles on it. (I just hit the 22,000 mile mark) Paid $12,000.00 for it in July 2010 a 2008 2LT Panel with 19,077 miles on it. Not to bad.
Even all the "Mods" I have added, I am still below that asking price!
Don't get me wrong here, I actually Hope they get it, and our values start going Up, IF mine were to be Totalled in an Accident, I sure would like Allstate to shell out a check for More than I paid for mine.
