I'll admit I test drove a couple PTs' back when they first came out..
Just couldn't pull the trigger on getting one tho..The turbo one had some heavy torque steer... Glad I waited now,

I had a 2001 PT Cruiser and it was a blast to own especially in the first years of owning it as everyone wanted to know more about it, practcally a show stopper wherever you went, then in 2004 I traded it in to a Turbo lite version. After getting it to the 180,000 km mark it started having problems with the steering amongst other things, it just had to go, why put major money into something that needed more & more work to keep it on the road. So I started looking into a new ride, most cars/trucks are sometimes hard to get in with my size of 6'2" but then I spotted a 2010 HHR Panel and I knew this was the car for me. I had always wanted Chrysler to add a PT Cruiser Panel to their lineup but they never did so when I seen this one it was gonna be the one I would buy. Its real nice to start passing gas stations instead of stopping in so many with the PT, as it averaged only about 23 mpg on a good day not like my 28-32 as of today. Both cars seem similar to me in the interior room, a bit different in the back seat as I dont have one any longer, a bit darker too as my lack of rear windows. I changed the stereo so I could add a backup camera and Ive added only a few minor mods so far. New rims and some other mods will get me next year ready for the shows/events. Larry
