I have checked out five dealerships in my area and looked at about 20 HHRs and this is the only one I have seen with them. Most of them did not have the running boards and none of them had chip deflectors except this one. I have seen many pictures of HHRs without running boards and none of them have them. I know it is not a standard factory option. Any other input?

The dealerships must be taking them off then? I have only seen them on this one HHR and it has running boards.
