thanks for the lesson.... sindy you have the 2.4 When you were down here you said all you used is hight Octane gas. Is it really make that Big of a diffrence?

The HHR is a great for musicians. I fit more equipment in my HHR than my Escalade or my Blazer.

Agreed.

I have a 2.2 and run mid-grade fuel. Excellent gas mileage and plenty of power. No problem at all getting up to freeway speed on interstate on-ramps. Can't say the same thing for the Nissan Hatchback I had in the 80's, which was sluggish compared to my HHR.

I have a 2.2 and run 87-grade fuel. Excellent gas mileage and plenty of power. I ditto everything Heritage07 said !!!!!!!!!

Hyundais are throwaway cars after 3 years. So are Kias. Oil sludging and dodgy transmissions kill the value--and the ten year warranty will NOT repair anything unless you save every single maintenance receipt that shows that every single maintenance item was serviced at the EXACT recommended interval.

The HHR is great for hauling everything music related EXCEPT for a Marshall 1960 cab and a Yamaha baby grand.
