Conceal Carry in HHR

I would never carry one of those things. They're dangerous...might shoot your eye out. Seriously though, theoretically speaking,if I was to be carrying a concealed weapon,I would not tell you.And if I was to be carrying a concealed weapon in my vehicle,it would be within the state law of whichever state I happened to be in at the time. Most states are different as to their requirements anyhow. http://www.packing.org/

Oh snap! Try to carry a weapon in a bank. If it's seen, expect to do alot of fast talking before the cops show up. My father in law is a Regional director for a bank. He has called the cops several times. Take no chances.

I usually try not to carry if I know before hand that I'm going somewhere that prohibits firearms (i.e. banks, schools, etc.) because I don't want to leave CCW unlocked, but there are sometimes you get a call and have to make unscheduled detours leaving no other options.....Depending on the size of your CCW (I usually just carry a mid-sized .380 around town) you could do like I do, and briefly store it here......But you also need a manual trans.....

What about installing a hasp onto the lid of one of the storage bins behind the seat? Like a mini safe. If I recall, the bolts for the hinges are not exposed. If they are, you could replace them with security bolts that are not easily removed.

Thanks for the sugesstions so far. I figured whomever was storing a weapon would need to add a lock box. I don't really trust the little cubby holes behind the seat even though they are handy! And the idea behind this question is it's something i haven't seen posed, and am curious how you guys would handle it.
And sometimes you have to stop by somewhere you cant carry (I am in college and sometimes have to run on campus, so parking off campus and locking would be the only option).
RUDEINC: I do drive a 5-sp, how do you pop the trim peice off?

if its seen, anywhere, then your breaking the law, as its not "concealed".
