I am very satisfied with my HHR, and I think you will find that is the case for most people on this forum.

BTW- Welcome to the site!!
X2....people usually dont talk about how problem free their car is...only have words when there is problems

I love that color blue. I just got an 09 LT in that color, and am wishing I had the SS body style. What, body wise, is different? It looks like just the grill, and front/rear bumpers. Also, are your window vents custom, or do they come on the SS as well?

The CAR - living creature like a big dog.
Love him, take care of it, Tell him good words. Then he will answer you the same.
If you're going to torment him - he will get sick or even die. But at some point, can kill you.

"One last thing do not shut the rear hatch with the bow tie bar. It can dent the rear door. Metal on all cars are thin today and this is just one of many cars that have this issue. Others are much worse. "

I close it this way, and even then see the ajar warning on the dash. If I just use the handhold inside more often than not I get the ajar warning. So how exactly should I be closing it?

I cloose the rear hatch by the tag plate , never the painted surface or the bowtie bar, and to ad to the posts for the HHR's I purchased Dec 16th 2009 34,000 lms, and now have 182,000 klms, so about 109,000 miles, had a few issues but hae ironed them out ( front hub bearings , power steering motor, and regular wear and tear items like tires nd breaks) and this little 07 LT is still hummin along , I have owned alot of cars and trucks in the past 45 years and this has been the best ride I have owned so far! 5 years old and no rust, no partss loose and falling off, it has been the best so far, bar none, sure it doesn't rumble like my 355 SBC hot rod truck , or corner like my 82 W GTI but it has not ben in the shop but twice both for warrenty work. two words... Love it!!

I use the plate or the fling the hand hold down and mine shuts fine.

If you push on the bow tie beauty bar it will ding in on the end and dimple the door. Look around at the rentals and they are pretty bent in.
