General HHR Discuss anything related to the Chevy HHR that doesnt seem to fit into the more specific categories below.

Was considering the HHR, couldn't pull the trigger! It's killing me....

Day 3 today to try and rent an HHR at Alamo at the Manchester Airport. My wife has a Saturn Vue and on Saturns the window switches are in the center so no learning curve for me

Two days ago, I stepped out of an 05 Mustang GT for an 07 HHR. Like you, I grappled with getting rid of a vehicle that I loved but realized that gas mileage, money, and overall sensibility took precedence over a car that was basically just an expensive good-for-nothing toy. I finally decided to just do it. No regrets.

Mike, good for you, but I don't know how you are doing it. Waiting to get serious buying that HHR in 2008 may be a good idea. I just had to go buy one once I started looking. I like my car but there are times I wish I too had waited. There is plenty of talk about the SS version, the panel model will be out, and they may change a few other things on the HHR by then. Stay in touch and let us know how you do, and keep checking in, something may come up that will be of benefit if and when you do buy the HHR. Good luck with whatever you decide.

CVROGERSHHR - Thanks for the reply! Oh, man I'm dying. Coming here every day doesn't make it any easier. The 2006 incentives went up another $1000 now I was told by a dealer (the one I was considering was a 2006 spring edition).

But I keep telling myself just hang tight...just hang tight. Time is on my side. I am so hoping something might get said or announced at the NY show this week.

All I need is news or a picture and then I feel like I can "decide" in some way. Not sure what that decision is! hahaha but man, it's really killing me.
