Coolant Gauge Problem Update
Picked my HHR up from the dealer tonight. ]ONETON[, yuor post was right on, it was a faulty BCM unit. Thanks for the heads up. Unit was replaced and all coolant gauges are back to normal. While at the dealer the tech checked the vehicle over and found a TSB relating to intermediate steering shaft He checked the shaft and replaced it. Also while test driving he noticed that the muffler seemed to be vibrating a little to loudly. Found a bad baffle in the muffler so he replaced it too! The dealer & tech both showed a lot of attention to detail while working on the car. I'm very happy with the work and results. Not sure I'm allowed to mention the dealer in this post. If anyone wants the name let me know. Thanks to all for your help and suggestions on fixing the problem

Sounds like you found a great dealer that cares about customer service. I'm sure anyone in the area would love to know who you went to. I've seen other dealerships mentioned here...in fact, I think there was even a thread on what dealership you bought your car from or used for service.

The dealership is Del Chevy in Paoli, Pa. It's also were I purchased the HHR. There service department has always been very willing to assist with any questions or problems I've had concerning the HHR. Each person's experience with a dealership is different, but they have been good to me.
