Coolant recovery tank

Has anyone swapped one of these out? How difficult?

1 bolt on the top, bayonet at the bottom.

You don't state the year, so I'll assume you have the "overflow" tank and not the surge tank that was on the early HHR's.
Either way, it's an easy swap.

Can anyone point me to where I could find instructions on how to take the recovery tank out? I took out the bolt and the clamp at the bottom but still can't seem to pull it out. What's the trick here? I have a 2010 LT model.

Appreciate any help anyone could give.

No trick the bolt at the top is the only thing holding it, the bayonet at the bottom goes into a slot in the sheet metal.

Pull and wiggle. Wiggle and pull.
Careful that you don't scrap off any skin when it pops free.

Yep, one bolt and wiggle and pull, and pull and wiggle.

Not to be picky but, doesnt the tank slot go into the radiator fan shroud? Mine did at least when I had to replace my fan. It came out very easy either way.
