Coolant temp.
What kind of coolant temp should I be seeing….currently I am in very south Georgia and with this heat wave, outside temp is 100 degree F. The coolant temp is 190-203 F with a/c on and at 65 mph on flat ground.
I m praying for my old hoses. Think Im buying new ones when / if I get home….lol

really my concern is with the hoses that may or may not be 11 years old…😳
pretty sure that riding with it 100 degree is better than walking though…..lol

(Unfortunately, I am very familiar with this having driven poorly maintained fleet vehicles for years.)

I appreciate all the imput from you guys, especially since I dont have a long history with HHR’s. The situation is…I bought the car not running with 109000 miles on it….replaced the vvt selinoids….then chains, guides and water pump, oh and cam phasers. New Dex-cool, thermostat, burbed it…but I didnt change any hoses and they maybe fine. We use this thing as a work car transporting motorhomes all over the US…(use to do Canada before covid) so the cost of new hoses isnt nearly as bad as hiring a tow truck and paying to have it fixed on the road.
Does it have coolant hoses other than the radiator hoses and heater hoses? Honestly, I need to look it over….just havent yet.
Thanks
