couldnt find thread so ill just ask....
Last week i seen a thread about swapping the plastic out by the shifter from the flat '08 to the '09 with the little pocket just right of the shifter on auto's....
my question is my 08 has the pocket... did gm put em in different mid '08 year? or did my dealer advertise my car as '08 for sale when really it could be "09? hahaha
pretty sure my vehicle door sticker says "manufactured 1/08"

With yours being an SS yours would of came with that pocket. Im the one that stared that thread and I did it because my LS didnt have the pocket or the nice leather shift boot for the auto just that plastic roll top crap. All 08 SS HHRs had changes that were applied to non SS HHRs for the 09 model year including that pocket and shifter boot and window switches moved to the door.
