All of these issues could be localized (like the seat occupancy sensor), or go all the way up to a bad ECM module, but definitely get the codes.

sorry for delay in getting back to you guys...

my car started showing check engine light around Christmas. had advanced auto parts check the codes - 700 and 742. both transmission issues. i turned the car into the dealership Dec 26 and finally on Jan 11 got it back.

they had to replace the transmission module and couldnt get it to take the software, then after getting that corrected, they had to rebuild the entire transmission. fortunately, it was covered under warranty.

it seems to be running fine now, but its only been two weeks :)

so if you have any codes, get them checked quickly. i have 76k on my car already (only had it a year and a half), bought new with 46 miles on it July 2011.

When my seat sensor goes off because I may have my phone or stuff laying there I just buckle the seat belt and it goes away. Not saying its right just that it works for me.
