Well I got to see the car first hand. It is covered. THe dents are smaller than I thought based on pics. My wife says she thinks many of them have vanished after making the drive in the sun to get me, could be. WE tried the various removal tricks posted and none work well enough. I think the car may be totaled as every panel needs work or to be replaced. If they don't total it we may make a more "crude" beach cruiser out of it so we can hose it out. We went and looked at new ones (just in case) and neither of us like the look of the SS (too much like a train or a young kids car for us). I wish someone made a car that is good on teh environment to produce, good on gas, had some power and a bit larger. Guess we cant have it all. My wife wants to convert her 97 hummer to vegetable grease powered. It costs several grand to do that though

Im gonna go snap some pics here in a bit and show what less than a minute of hail can do to a beautiful car...
