Cruise Control Indicator....

****, that's tooooo cold, time to move..
Instead of ----, your buggy should be displaying ****

The DIC, should be displaying, ****, IT'S TOO COLD...

I'm still pissed that that HHRs don't have a green, cruise-control light, that lights up,
when you turn, the cruise control on ???

Yeah that yellow light is annoying, green would be better.

So there is, an indicator light on the dash...
I've never had one since the day I got my buggy new, I just thought that
the HHR, didn't have one...
My bad, someday I'll have to open up the manual, to see where it's located,
on the dash...

Ok, I just looked up the owners manual, on-line...
Ok, where on the dash, is this light ??
I don't see where in the owners manal ??
I do know that when cruise is set, the DIC dispalys a message.

The DIC message is the light but, as I recall I'd call it more amber than yellow.

The DIC message doesn't stay, it will display that cruise has been set,
then the message disappears, after a few seconds.
Every car, that I have ever owned, with factory cruise control, will display,
with a universal ,green lighted symbol, on the instrument panel, when cruise control, is set, & active.
So, there is nothing displayed, on an HHR, to let you know, that cruise control, has been set, & active, just the brief DIC message ??

As I recall, though it's been a while since I've been in an HHR, the button on the steering stays lit when the cruise is on.

Yes, it stays lit, to let you know that cruise is armed, & ready, for use only, but nothing to indicate, that cruise has been set, & active.

Does anyone have the cruise-is-active, universal green indicator dash light,
on all of your other cars/trucks ??

On my Dodge truck it would come on when the cruise was armed, not just set.
At least that's the way I recall it.
Not 100% sure on that because the light itself quit working last year. Cruise still works, I just don't know if it's armed till I try to set it.

There ought to be a recall on my truck! (sarcasm intended)
Dang light burning out after 15 years. They sure don't make them last.

You did get me to look at an HHR owners manual online, & now I know...
