Wonderful story behind our HHR build date. Our '96 Bonneville blew a head gasket on 11/6 and that weekend I fixed it, but we had been searching for an HHR for a couple of weeks. Really wanting a white one we seached and searched. And no one wanted to give us close to payoff for the Bonne. We'll we found a black 06 and a blue 07 at our local dealer. I knew a saleman there and got him to do the figures on the blue one. So we went there 11/13 and drove the blue one, and for some reason it had a slight vibration during the test drive. So we came back and drove the black one and as we drove we knew this was the car to get. So we took ownership a couple of days later. That night as my wife and I lay in bed she ask me if I saw the date that our car was made on. I said no, she said it was 5/19/06 and ask if I remembered what day that was. I thought for a minute and she said that was Dads birthday. You see her Dad went home to Heaven July 1 this year after a year battle with cancer.

 

Could you please help me out.
I was told that my HHR was built the week of Feb 13,2006 but i don't know what day.
My last 6 digits of my Vin# are 618019
Your help regarding this matter will be greatly appreciated.
