Went out to the Cruck, to check lables. Found one, tire inflation sticker, that had a conforms/complies with, type wording.
Mines said 10/05, I got the Cruck in 11/05.
NOW, if I may ask,( you don`t have to answer, but you did want to know )what can the exact date of mgf. offer you. Surely you`re not going to have a party for your veh., are you?

Nope no parties. Just wondered what day of the week it was made. No problems with the car so maybe it was made in the middle of the week.

may, is a very bad time to have a car assembled in mexico, Nissan sentras that were assembled in may, especially around may 4, cinco de mayo, had the most problems. lets hope the HHR doesnt fall into that category.

Being that most plants run 7 days a week...the middle of the week makes no difference. Think they drink less tequila on Wed?

Hey Kermit.
Your Spring Edition HHR was born on May 24, 2006.
I hope I am not repeating any responses you got so far.

Just checked...mine shows date 11/05. When Henry went and looked at HHR's in mid-December for me to pick up a brochure at the dealer where I bought mine, the salesman said an orange one had just come off the truck. It had everything I was looking for, but I wasn't able to get away for a couple weeks, and luckily it was still there.

Assembly lines are so automated these days isn't this notion a bit obsolete?
