You are welcome. I checked your expected intransit date and it was listed at 10/28/05, so your HHR was "supposed" to arrive at the dealership around that time.

If it's been sitting around for a year, change the oil right away.

Look at the sticker on the Drivers door, top right of the sticker tells you the build date.

I'm talking to the dealer tonight and I want to find out when the warranty takes effect, it better be froom the day I took possesion and not the build date,
I just wonder how a car can sit around for an entire year before it is sold??

Your warranty starts when you take possesion..in fact it will roll out to 100,057 miles. Mine had 272 miles on it when I bought it (50 or so put on by me test driving)

My HHR was built in Sept 06 and I didn't get it until the middle of May. HHRs are pretty much not a mainstream car like an Impala so yeah, they can stick around for a bit. I think there are a few folks here who have HHR's that were almost a year old before they were bought.

Give Pitt the vin #'s and he will tell you the exact date for your build

Hey yeah, would love to know mine as well.
I have no idea why, but I know mine sat on a lot for over a year. But by the time I grabbed it, it was 0% financing so I really didnt mind. It only had 12 miles on it. Ill try and dig around for the vin numba....Thanks so much!
