?????
Probably has to do with yours being an SS and his an LS. Other than that I rechecked the dates and they are correct as listed by GM.

Could you please post my HHR's build date? Last 7 of the VIN: S525722.

Curious as I took delivery on 4/20/09. TIA

8/21/2008. You also have an open recall for the shifter.

So do I just call the sales man and ask about the recall? You would think they would have taken care of that as it sat on the lot so long or at least told me about it. Do you know what is wrong w/ the shifter or why they recalled them? They did have to order another starter as they couldn't find the 2nd one and will have to go in to get it programed. definatly will check on it. thanks for the heads up.

ChevyMgr. Thanks for helping me gain access to posting. Perhaps this may have been a curse, because if you hadn't I wouldn't be asking you another favor.

I bought my '08 SS as a "slightly used" unit, so the dealer did not know the specific date of mfg. They could only point to the month/year stamp on the door which reads 03/08.

My SS was delivered to Tom Oates Chevrolet of Chester Springs, PA on 3/13/08, but that's the only history that I have. The last 6 digits of the VIN are 663763. Would you be able to determine the specific date of mfg for this SS model? Thanks in advance for all of your help (again).

The inspection takes 3 minutes to do. If the cable is damaged and had to be replaced, I am betting it would have to be ordered. 99.999% require inspection only. But you won't be in and out of there in 3 minutes so call the service department ahead of time and set an appointment.

3/12/2008. And your real delivery date is 3/28/2008. The SS had 13 miles at delivery so your good until 36013 for basic warranty.

This vehicle was towed in twice last November. Shows to of had a connector repair at the underhood electrical sensor and 7 days later a crankshaft position sensor replaced. Repairs done on Staten Island.

Amazing. So much for dealer accuracy and their carfax data. Thanks again, (and again, and again) ChevyMgr.

12/2/2008 and your dealer completed the transmission recall before you purchased it.
