I turn my fogs on during the day with DLR ambers (I have an '06). Call me crazy, but I like how it looks during the day...I think it makes the car look more pronounced.

I need to look in to the relay mod

Maybe another approach would be to somehow mod the switch so it doesn't bounce back to Auto and instead stays off.

Now THERE'S the money shot!! I did that to my wife's 99 blazer, but figured that the computer would flip out on the HHR.

Um scratch that half-baked 2am idea. Realized the next morning it won't work... its a momentary switch from what I can tell

Bringing back an old thread, on my SS I just removed fuse #31 from the fuse box under the hood and my DRL's don't turn on anymore. The DIC still shows them as being on but with the fuse removed they won't turn on.

It sounds like it would be a simple rewiring of the DRL Module output from the headlamps to the park/turn signal lamps. ChevyMgr could you send me the schematics to each system? I would be interested to see what would be involved.

Thanks,

JJ

Yes I saw and read it, but a description of operation and viewing the actual wiring schematics are two different things when trying to determine the feasibility of a wiring modification.
