Dear Mr. Nesbitt
#11
To All - Maybe I watched too much Lewis Black or George Carlin. When I bought my HHR I did it defiantly, as I had to trade my convertible off for something "practical". Of everything I looked at - I liked the HHR the best. It could fit into my budget, and fit my needs. I've owned too many cars, and each I would change something on. Obviously some of these items were an issue, or GM wouldn't have changed them. It is only when you own a car for a while you get to know it's "uniqueness". The window switches bugged me, but the small door map pockets, the door lock buttons, the lack of traction control (kind of wished I had that this week) all popped over the last year. If I can't rant to my fellow HHR brothers and sisters about perceived shortcomings - and maybe hear about shortening the door lock buttons, filing that piece of the rear wiper arm so I can swing it away while washing it, etc. than what good is a forum?

GM also decontented the LS models and the like to make for a cheaper price. As time goes on they make things that were optional standard no many models. But you also will be paying more.
also the things like window switched etc are and have already been addressed. What looked like a good Idea in 06 is gone in a 09. Changes like this can take up to two years in the budgets they are given.
