Denso Alternator?

I was looking in my engine bay today and noticed the alternator is Made in Japan by Denso.....a big Toyota supplier...in fact my Matrix had a Denso alternator so I guess the HHR does have a little bit of Japanese Technology in it...

My '94 Dakota had a Denso starter on it from the factory. I know because it (Denso starter) went ten toes up earlier this year and I had to replace it @ 53,000 miles. Pretty short lifespan for a starter.

Denzo is a supplier of electical parts to a lot industries like Delco and Autolite. They are big as an OEM supplier of spark plugs to the lawn care mfgs (movers, chain saws, etc) as well as automotive systems.

I work in a warehouse that stores parts for Cat, and found out they also make horns.

I traded a 2004 Mercedes-Benz for my HHR - it had a Denso AC Compressor (OEM) - I know because I paid 1000 bucks to replace it.
