Now I just need to call the Geico adjuster first thing in the morning to try to get her to look at the car as fast as possible.

It is the LS model, so it probably has the 2.2 but it is still pretty quick. It does a small burnout without powerbraking.

Based upon those rear pics...it certainly possible that you have a bent frame. IMHO...it is much MUCH better to have a car totaled then repaired. Ive had a similar accident that didnt quite meet the 80% damage to value ratio and they repaired it. That car was plagued after that with many problems. Good Luck either way. BTW...do you have GAP insurance (assuming you have a loan on the HHR of course.)

Good question. What is GAP insurance???
I would guess that with proper chassis straigtening, especially being FWD, it should be OK.
What kind of problems did you have? Tracking or more?

GAP insurance will pay for any negative equioty in your vehicle if it is totaled and you owe more than the insurance company will give you. A LOT of people end up owing thousnads on vehicles they dont even owe any more simply due to totallying out a newer vehicle with the long length of loans nowadays. Mine was a Mitsubishi Galant and so it too was FWD. It had electrical problems, rear tires wearing unevenly and water seepage into the trunk. Just a nightmare. Again..good luck with yours however.
