My wiper is close but does not hit. I wonder if some hoods are adjusted back a little more than others?

I put mine up to wash my HHR and I noted right away it was close but it still did not hit the hood.

I guess I have the one that breaks the rules. My wiper blades line up exactly on the alignment dots but when I raise my driver side wiper it touches the hood. Not just touch it but I can not even raise it all the way up to where it will stay up, I have to hold it up to clean the windshield.

My hood was adjusted when they put my new bumper cover on after I got run off the road.

I know he adjusted it up and down but he may have moved it forward too?

i think their alignment dots are off, for me it's safer just to have them above the dots a bit and then the wiper clears the hood by a longshot.

is it your driver side that is hitting, that's the one that did on mine, the other was fine.

This is the same as mine. Maybe just enough to slide a few sheets of paper pass. But my hood does have the spots rubbed off in the exact spots that the wipers would hit if they did.

With your wipers up look on the bottom of the windshield for 2 little marks. It will be in the darker part at the bottom and will look kind of like a circle with a crosshair, or something similar.

My wipers clear, from the factory about 1/4"... The Driver's is perfectly aligned on the above-mentioned "spot" (nice tip! ...

Guess I was one of the lucky ones..

I noticed the wiper arm right away when I puchased the car. I had the dealer move it a bit and that solved the problem. Free. The drivers wiper sits just about level in the park position now.
