Did Chevy announce an HHR SS in the works?

Here are some really interesting MPG specs regarding the Engines available in the Solstice... the turbo gets better mileage than the n/a engines...
hmmm, wonder why?
SOLSTICE MPG mileage estimates**
2.4L Ecotec® DOHC VVT(manual): 20/28 (city/highway mpg)
2.4L Ecotec® DOHC VVT (automatic): 22/26 (city/highway mpg)
2.0L Turbo Ecotec® DOHC VVT(manual): 22/31(city/highway mpg)
2.0L Turbo Ecotec® DOHC VVT (automatic): 21/29(city/highway mpg)
of course... if you had a turbo HHR, you'd prolly be zinging that baby near redline a lot (I know I would) and would not get nearly 31-stick or 29-auto. but still interesting nevertheless...

she's not saying which engine they're going to use... maybe they'll drop in a 400 HP LS2. j/k
Now that would make it an SS!
