I got mine in a dealer-branded vinyl case that contained the manuals, other documentation, cards for Roadside Assistance, etc...

All told a tidy little unit

The case is not standard with the vehicle. Just the plastic zip-lock. The case is something the dealership threw in. They only cost a buck or two; if that. The majority of the Chevy's come standard with the case. Most cars under $25K do not.

I purchased a new 07 last week, it was all in a ziploc too. My GMC Yukon back in 1998 had a nice leather cover and all the books were inside.

Kind of makes me wonder if the leather case is given to those who upgrade to LT's???..I don't know..
