First I would like to thank everyone who responded to my post. I did discover today that the ignition switch was bad. It would vibrate out of the acc position. It was replaced and my problem was solved!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And the extra miles? Will they be correcting that?

Shame on everyone that said you left the switch on. Oops, I might of said something like that. Sorry. Please see signature for further explanation.

Hope I don't have that problem as I'm going on a 2500 mile round trip in a week. I will have to watch it closely.

Stick the key in by itself. The heavy hanging do-dads on the chain have been known to move ignition switches in HHRs and Cobalts. Or disconnect the battery.
