Please don't tell me after i've got 52,000 miles on my SS, That that's bogus info. ?
On my 2010, it takes two taps and then ten seconds to get to comp mode w/ esc off. I have noticed other people had said only one tap then hold but that is what I do with my SS. Maybe I have a lemon I need to have GM buy this back!!!!!

In the rain... most definately... unless I'm trying to play. Otherwise it's wheel spin everywhere all the time.

Mine is an 08 2LT, and mine is always on. My 07 1LT with the 5 speed didnt have the TC on it and it sucked very much badly in the snow.

I always leave mine on. I did the same in my previous car as well. The only time I turn it off is when I am planning on having fun.

Always turn mine off unless conditions call for it.

like others its habit... I get in
1. start car
2. turn off auto lights... except at night (pulled DRL fuse the day I bought it)
3. turn on fogs
4. hold down TC button for 10 secs and disable it

Was thinking about this but mine has a button on the dash that if I push it it turns off. Didn't know that till just now though, gonna experiment with it later.

I wish I could defeat it by a button in my car. In '07 you have to drop it down to 1st (L) for it to be off and that just doesn't cut it.

Yeah, they're great cars! Mine has about 150k miles on it, and still manages to get 32mpg!
