The car is original (currently) except for the paint obviously. I'm in the process of restoring it with some modifications.

It has a 258-6 3-sp manual floor shift. Only options were A/C (can you believe it, it still works too), and power steering. The wheel covers (rims) are OEM. The hood is OEM. The grill is as stated, chrome plated plastic, and OEM also.

I've got plans for this baby.

I have only seen one, and a GUY was driving it. It was a 2LT with the bright wheels. I think the wheels make it look more manly. I actually don't think the color looks that bad though. If I had a choice between the purple or the orange HHR, I would pick the purple any day! That orange is horrible!!!

At least Chevy didn't add green to the HHRs line up of colors.

I like British Green. With a white stripe. That would look cool

Yeah, racing green is cool on Jaguars and Minis but I don't think it would look that great on a HHR. Racing green does look really good with white stripes also.

Are you going to do anything to your HHR as well?

I think if its done right it can look good. But its not something I would want to do. If anything I would two tone my car like CJ

I like the two tone idea but I'm more of a fan a solid color on the top, solid color on the bottom, and a pinstipe in between. Not to take away from CJs of course because I love his paint design.
