If so what do you use. I can't imagine it is the jack that came with the HHR. (and yes I know how to rotate tires lol)

Wonder if you use stands or a floor jack etc

I rotated mine using two jacks: the HHR's scissor jack and a 3-ton hydraulic floor jack. You'll need the scissor jack for the front, as there's not a lot of clearance for a floor jack up there.

Pretty much the same except I have a compact 2T floor jack I used on my dropped Silverado (HHR has a lot more room than it did )

i do my own too.. i try to rotate them around every 5000 miles. if you can use a torque wrench to tighten them back up.. the manual says 100 ft pounds then you might not have rotor issues down the road..ive got 20000 miles on mine & no rotor problems yet...

What is the procedure that you guys do? As in jack up the front end, take off tires, put on jack stands etc or do you just jack up 1 side of the car and take off 1 at a time etc....

Let us know your routine

If I'm just rotating front to rear (usually all mine need). I crack the lugs loose on one side, then raise that side up with and pull both off.

Where do you place your floor jack(if that is what you use) on the HHR? Does the floor jack lift the whole side enough to get both tires off at once?

I put the floor jack in the same spot as the sissor jack goes. Mine is slotted and fits the lip. I doubt the sub frame of the HHR is stiff enough to lift with only one jack. I just use two jacks and lift of the stock front and rear points together.

Woudln't it be easier to lift the rear, slide a jack-stand under the axle support, then lift the front with the floor jack? I'm almost positive my 2ton hydaulic jack will fit under the front. I HATE using the damn scissor jacks.

I raise with the floor jack. Then put the scissor jack in place in place on the other end. Since it is already raised some, you only have to crank a little. I suppose a jack stand would work as good.

My floor jack fits under the front easy.
