I run Synthetic oil on all my cars and have since the mid '70's. race cars and street. Reduced engine wear, run cooler(older hi po stuff) and better Fuel economy. I even went 80k miles on a Vega before it needed to be rebuilt.

Ran my 91 Chevy Cavalier RS 3.1 V6 on 5W30 Amsoil synthetic oil for 16 years, without a problem. Best car I had so far. There will be no other oil than synthetic oil in my cars/trucks. Starts in the winter like it's summer. Synthetic oil improves everything (in terms of performance). Oil is the blood of the engine.
