Dimmer switch - nope.
2nd dome light - yup, a quick use of the Search tool at the top of the page would have led you to- https://www.chevyhhr.net/forums/mods...me-lite-36471/
There are also several postings about turning the rear cargo light around 180 deg for more light forward.
Check them out - some good info there.

I have done the " 180 Dome Light Spin" on my '08 Panel, at least 5 + yrs ago now..
Actually forgot about doing it till this post reminded me. It gave me all the lighting I need.
But pretty easy to add another dome light if required for your needs.
