Being an ex cop.... an experienced officer can see a vehicle that is traveling over the speed limit.... Red and Yellow vehicles are more noticable.....I had a Red Gran Prix.... and was traveling with several vehicles and we were all driving over the speed limit.... but i was the one stopped... The officer told me that he noticed me out of the bunch and clocked me.... The speed he clocked me at was correct...to my luck being one of the blue he didnt write me and stated he wished he had clocked one of the others..

That is one of the reasons fire trucks are mostly Red and Yellow...

Im glad you took responsibility. State cops are usually respectful and pleasant as your are respectful and pleasant. It is the local cops that are usually the aholes.(No offense to any local cops here) The local cops around here pull people over for anything. One time a local cop pulled over my aunt to check if she and her children had their seatbelt on. She was not speeding or anything.Local cops write tickets because in the small towns that is a great source of revenue and sometimes the greatest. The cops are told to pull over anyone for any violation.
