I think I'll put in a yellow cap optima when it comes time for replacement. Or at the very least a Sears Diehard

With my new battery I was able to watch Inception and Iron Man 2, plus 45 minutes of XM radio prior to the movie start with no starting problems at the end! :)

That powered sub of yours could be a cause of accelerated battery drain. You have a new one now but it could happen again in a couple years.

The battery better hold out otherwise I'll be pissed. We have a drive-in just north of the city and I go every weekend with the Mustang and have never had an issue with the battery through the double feature. The last couple of weekends will be with the HHR as the Mustang's insurance runs out ... will have to wait and see I guess

I just let mine run, the AC feels real good on a hot summer night in Tennessee and since I smoke the windows tend to be down too. Yes it does use a little more gas, but what the heck!

Heading out to the drive in finally tonight. We have been wanting to go but have been gone every weekend.

I am planning ahead and bringing my battery jumper pack just in case. Although i don't forsee any problems.

If anyone sees this in the next hour or 2, my question is, do i have to do anything special to get the running lights, parking lights, etc all to turn off? I used to take my dad's truck and found out that his had to have the e-brake on for the lights to be off while the truck was on (can't remember if it was for Acc too or just full on.

Just want to make sure i don't ruin things for other people.

Now i gotta go down and super clean the inside and outside of the window. Going to try and just look through the front although it is tiny. The back doesn't seem too comfy. Used to do that in the jimmy but the seat backs and tailgate were much more padded then the hhr.

We take our lawn chairs and a portable radio and sit outside and watch the movie.
