Driver side splash shield

I recently acquired a 2010 HHR. It has a few common problems that I have been able to fix. Today I noticed that it is missing the driver side splash shield while replacing the horn. I think the shield missing connects to the frame rail. Anyways I was wondering if someone could share a picture of how the shield is attached and where. I believe the part number I need is 22714699. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

I couldn’t find a clear photo of one installed, they are held in place by 10 mm push pins and 6 mm barbed pins, there are a few 7 mm head screws also.

Thank you RJ_RS_SS_350 and Oldblue. After looking at the drawings I'm wondering if I am missing item 18 as well. I know I need item 27 for sure.

I found a replacement on RockAuto, Ebay and Amazon. The part is still available from GM although shipping is high.

And probably the GM price tag price as well. "Pick-a Part" would be your least expensive option.. Just saying.

Besides taking off the left front tire, is there a trick to install the shield? Also what is the GM part number for plastic retainers and screw/washer for securing the shield?

Thanks.

The push pins are 6 mm and the screws are 7 mm head self tapping sheet metal screws, look in the Help section of your local parts palace.
