I usually just stop a little ways back from the light, that way I can still see it. If I stop under it like most, then I have to duck... And I'm only 6'0", so I feel sorry for the taller people

If I stopped where I can still see most overhead traffic lights, I'd have to stop about 5 to 10 car lengths away from the stop line. (6'4", most of my height is in my torso)

No, it`s just above my line-of-sight, sorta like bifocals (if you have them, you know) once you get used to them, you only notice them when you need them...

They were. You can still get them too. They are much larger though and require drilling into the dash. That why i like the smaller, suction cup alternative.
