Ducking to see the traffic light

That was one of the first things I noticed after taking it off the lot. and I'm only 5' 10". Doesn't take long to get used to though! On the positive side it works great driving into the sun.

But at least with the style I have, you can move, fip it up and its just a little suction cup. The Light-n-sight would have to be replied. and when you're driving into the sun, there's no way of moving it out of the way. You have to use the visor, even if the sun isn't actually in your eyes.
You hardly notice it after a while.
I'm sure it works as advertised. We all like what we like and long as we all keep liking the HHR, all is well.

I look at the prism and keep wondering what would happen in an accident if the seat belt didn't work (or wasn't being worn) or the airbag didn't deploy.
I keep seeing a prism embedded in someone's forehead.

If that was the case, I'd be worried by a lot more than a little plastic prism!

Black Rose, your sig says you have the Light-n-Sight device.
What do you think, is it in your vision? Does it transmit the sun into your eyes. Is it an annoyance?
I like mine, and just wanted an unbiased opinion.
PS. Others who have them (L-n-S) can chime in also... And posters with a Prism are welcome also, but specify.

I don't see it that way at all. There are those that are passionate about the products they buy (ala Chevy VS Ford) and those that are looking for an informed opinion. AND you said it well earlier.
I know I have been thinking about getting one of them but am still undecided. I was actually leaning toward the L-n-S for the lower profile but you brought up a valid point.

It does magnify the sun a bit at times and creates a bright spot at the top of the windshield, but it's not unbearable.
I bought the light-in-sight simply because it's flat....I have extremely sharp and wide peripheral vision, so anything that appears out of place bothers me.
