There is not really much you can do other than a weekly car wash including undercarriage wash. Over the past couple of days I have gotten stuck behind two salt trucks. That sucks because you can hear all of the salt pinging really hard off of your paint and glass. You either have to slow down and stay far back or hope there is an open lane to pass and take all of the salt hitting you untill you get past.

I think the salt trucks conspire to get me. Last night on my way to work one even held me from passing to let another salt truck in front of him then the one in front of me made a right :0 There is a doulble yellow line two lane road for 8 miles until I get to base and the cops around here are out of control. Needless to say I was a little agitated.

My problem is the dew on the car in the morning and the street sweeper stirring up dust that settles on my car.

Blizzard in North Alabama

WoW! The snow we had here last night! I think we may have had somewhere around 1/64 of an inch. If it would have snowed a few minutes more, there would have been a mad stampede at the grocery stores to buy milk and bread.
