Unhappy Egged…

Well I have bad news… Well some stupid person down my street decided that egging random house and cars would be a good idea . So my house and my car got egged and now I have an egg mark on my door of my HHR . We do not know who did it or why they did it but we did file a police report. I will get a photo of the egg mark soon. I did not want to be the first HHR to get egged.

Try neutralizing it right away, and try to restore the finish with the clearcoat treatment that comes with the car, if you had it done.
Otherwise, try McGuires or other good brand to clean it up.

Well I did not know about it for 24 to 48 hours after it got egged . So the egg did its work on my car.

Well I tried to take a photo of the spot where the egg hit, its hard to see the hit mark. I will try again soon.

Clean and wax the area, if it`s too small to photogragh then it`s not so bad.

mix up some baking soda and water and wash down the area, this also works really well for bird poo.

That bird poop is nasty stuff! Every day when my Wife gets home from work I go out and check so it doesn't sit overnight. Got one little spot on the hood that won't clean up though no matter what. That's a minor aggravation right now though since someone crunched the front fender on Friday in a parking lot!!

I have a small dent and some light paint chipping from where the egg hit. The light from the sun is making it hard to take the photo.

Well after I got the egg cleaned off it’s not that bad, I still have a small dent in the door. Here is a photo of the dent and chipping. Sorry about the quality of the photo the auto focus dose not like the side of my car.
