Ask your Chevrolet Body Shop guy what to use on your vehicle, Things have changed in the past 10 yrs on the Paint so I think you should ask a body shop guy (Any good Body Shop) should be able to help you out.

Same thing happened to my Blazer a few years back. Ate right through the clear and paint, stopped at the ELPO. Made me a believer that those "paint protection" scams foisted by the car stealerships are nothing but a scam. Of course, since it was considered "abuse" to have my car egged (like it was MY fault), the underwriter of the scam didn't cover it and the stealer never repainted the tailgate.

Then when I started selling cars, I learned like every other car salesman knows that it's just a scam to pack the payments.

So sorry to hear what some ignorant person did to your car! Man, people are so inconsiderate.

Our car is on order and expected to arrive in 8 weeks. Our problem isn't so much with egg throwing nuts in the neighbourhood, but our neighbour has 6 cats! The cats have made our house their home and we can't stand it. When we got our last car their cats liked to walk up the hood and onto the roof leaving everything from mud prints over the entire surface to all those little scratches you can never get out. We have spoken to them but to no avail. I will be parking my new car in the garage constantly - it just infuriates me how insensitive people are to others property!

I was on my way home yesterday, a bunch of kids, (5-6), were on the shoulder, throwing rocks at passing cars. Not a cop in sight...
But let the traffic speed up, they`re out there in force.
And it someone had hit one of these nev`r-do-wells, there would be an outcry around the country...
