The PCV hose is the hose that goes from the valve cover to the rubber elbow at the throttle body

The MAF sensor is the device in the tube going from the air filter box to the elbow at the throttle body

Ok thanks. I'll check out the pcv hose. As far as the sensor goes I'm pretty sure its fine I just unhooked it to take the engine cover off.

How pricey are pcv hoses usually?

That's what they were trying to tell you earlier. Your video shows the engine running without the air filter housing attached. Which means the MAF sensor was unplugged. Which means the engine won't run correctly because the MAF can't communicate with the engines computer.

In other words, the MAF is probably fine. Just needs to be plugged up for the engine to run good.

Just a piece of fuel line will suffice, I believe 3/8 ID

I checked pcv hose. It has a few scrapes but no holes or leaks. I think the crappy phone camera was playing tricks.

On my way to oreilly to have the codes checked, the check engine light went off. Drove around for 45 minutes and it never came back on. *shrug*

The problem started before I ever unplugged the MAF. I only unplugged it to get to the spark plugs and fuel injectors.

How's about getting any stored or pending codes read?

Ok, I didn't know if it would show anything when the light was off. I'll stop in the morning.

2011 hhr check engine light codes

Hello, I have a 2011 HHR, LS, 2.2L engine. I recently had a problem where the "eng pwr reduced" warning came on and stalled the car. I had the throttle body replaced and that stopped. Now I have some codes I want to look at.

C0292
P0300
P0303
P0573

I replaced all the spark plugs about 20,000 miles ago. I'm planning on having the fuel injectors replaced, regardless of its that the issue or not.

I am not mechanically savvy at all but have a trusted mechanic who is.

Thanks,
James
